Children and Family Ministries

Children’s and Family Ministry at LUMC is led by Lisa Perkins, who holds a Master’s in Education and previously served as an Elementary School teacher for ten years in Texas.

Children’s and Family Ministries are active year round, and serve infants through Grade 5. Sunday mornings, we offer Sunday School for preschool – Grade 5 from 9:45-10:45 a.m., and our nursery is available for ages 0-3.

Children are always welcome in worship services; Children’s Worship is also available for children in 3-5th grades during both services. Fellowship offerings throughout the year include gatherings and activities like movie nights, sprinkler parties, holiday celebrations, craft parties, pageants, and summer camps!

BIBLE BOOT CAMP FIELD TRIP

November 1st @ 1:30 p.m.

The fellowship field trip has been rescheduled for November 1st. Please RSVP with Lisa Perkins to be included in our ticket count. TODDLERS & WOBBLERS PLAY DAY

November 15th @ 9:30 a.m.

We're hosting a Family Ministry meetup for families with children ages 0-4! Wear layers, bring a lawn chair, and join us at the LUMC Playground for two hours of fun! We'll have breakfast and hot drinks in the Waystation, and older siblings are always welcome.

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

December 14th @ 9:45 a.m.

Please join us in Grant Fellowship Hall to support the children as they tell the story of Baby Jesus! A Cookie & Cocoa Reception will follow.
